I am a painter of natural forms who enjoys the movement and three dimensional quality of plants, flowers, shells, vegetables, and fruits. I prefer to paint close-up views in a large format using oil medium on canvas. The large format gives me the opportunity to create a more dynamic impact that emphasizes the beauty found in nature.
It is always a struggle to comprehend the magnitude and wonder of the natural world. Creating art, for me, is a way of coming in touch with the mysticism of nature.
